MEDIA ARCHIVES
Our library is currently storing miscellaneous digital materials on our Media Server for our patrons to explore.
Of particular interest to genealogy researchers are our scanned obituary clippings and area cemetery / headstone photos.
This is a new project started in 2014, and we are adding everything we can to make material available for our website visitors. If you have historical or genealogy records, photos, data or just about anything else that pertains to McDonald county that you are willing to share, please contact the Main Library in Pineville at 417-223-4489, and let us know you have something to donate to our “digital media server collection.”
We are especially interested in anything that is already in digital format. Scanned images (photographs/jpgs) and text files/PDFs are most helpful! Thank you!
